It's Giving Tuesday! Let's Throw Our Money Around!
Good morning!
If you haven't had a chance to check out yesterday's post, DO, because there's gonna be a good conversation there.
But TODAY. Today is Giving Tuesday, and a LOT of organizations doing excellent work to help vulnerable people need our money—as much as we can possibly spare.
The other day a contractor came to fix part of our roof, and Josh and I felt like fancy people, going about our other business while our house was improving without our interaction. This is like that, I think: I'm not a full-time Justice Boss, but some people are, and I can participate with their work materially even as I go about my other business.
Today my money is going to The Equal Justice Initiative, Bryan Stevenson's legal organization "committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society.
And with a smile, no less. Source
Or: International Justice Mission, which fights human trafficking, has a matching situation going on today, so every dollar you give is doubled (only up to $150,000, though...).
Who are you throwing money to today? Let's do this.
